Hey everyone, I heard that there's a Valentine's Day event called NG Bachelors where you get paired up with a special someone and draw something for them. For this event, you enter an OC to be paired up with another person's OC for Valentine’s Day. Once you are paired with someone, you and the other person have to draw each of our OCs going on a date. Basically, it's like the annual Secret Santa event, but with a Valentine's Day twist.

But there's only one little problem: The event is rated M for Mature, and only adults aged 18+ can enter. Not to mention being scouted is mandatory. Because the announcement is also rated M, I had to open it in a private window to see the rules. Although the NG Bachelors event sounds like fun, I feel just a little conflicted. While I would love to enter my OC, Sarah Sparkles, and draw her going on a date with someone else's OC, I'm not sure if I should enter. I only participate in collabs that are E rated, suitable for everyone, but it's clear that this event is not very family-friendly. I’ve always prided myself on creating content that’s accessible to a broad audience, and stepping into the mature realm feels like a significant leap. I can't help but wonder what "mature" truly means in this context. Would it involve explicit themes or just a deeper exploration of relationships and emotions? It's a fine line to tread, and I'm not sure I'm ready to cross it. Plus, I’ve heard horror stories about how certain events can lead to discomfort or unwanted situations. Am I prepared to navigate that kind of environment?

To make matters more complicated, the scouting process has me feeling uneasy. It's one thing to join an event where everyone feels welcomed, but having to be scouted for the art portal adds an element of pressure. What if I don’t get chosen? Or worse, what if I get paired with someone whose style or vision doesn't align with my own? Those thoughts swirl in my mind, making me second-guess whether this creative leap is worth it. Maybe I should just stick with what I know and love, focusing on the wholesome collaborations that have brought me joy so far.

What do you think I should do?
